Fading Heritage II

from £30.00

When you visit an area on repeat you can get lucky and this one occasion I got very lucky with the area being shroud in dense fog. These are the wooden mooring posts that were once a used prominent feature of the docks to moor the paddle steamers during the industrial ages when they’d move coal around the world are now used instead as surface layers of authenticity to the areas past history. I have a thing about Welsh heritage and how slowly I feel it’s being forgotten about and dissolved and this image replicates that with the now worn and faded wooden joinery that is fading into the fog and fading to nothing. A very minimal image that depicts my thoughts on the subject.

This image that would look stunning gracing a home or business space due to its commercial appeal.
